Lets recap what we learned before we head to the Falls.

Springs are important sources of water for people, plants and animals. Here, at the springs, life on the Earth's surface can access water that is normally found below ground. In areas that are very arid and dry, springs can be centers for life!

Additionally, these springs produce a fairly consistent amount of run-off, which makes its way downhill to join other streams and eventually form mighty rivers! Springs like this keep rivers from drying up in periods of long drought, when rainfall may be limited!

Let's follow this creek, Honey Creek, downhill. We hear the sound of roaring water in the distance...
